My client received an NR4 slip (Statement of amounts paid or credited to non-residents of Canada). How do I enter the information from this slip with DT Max?

The NR4 is an information slip which shows the tax withheld on certain payments for non-residents. The tax pursuant to Part XIII ITA usually represents 25% of the gross income.

Since the tax was deducted at source, the non resident taxpayer doesn't normally have to file a return for that type of income unless he has made an election pursuant to ITA section 216 or section 217. Therefore, no entries are required in DT Max.
